"Wholeness is not achieved by cutting off a portion of one's being but by integration of the contraries."

About Me

I am a guide, mentor and therapist.  I love to see people grow into themselves and live a fuller, more present life.  When I was a younger woman, I would hear myself say, "I want to go home." It took me many years to understand what I was telling myself was that I wanted to go home to me, back to my own inner wisdom. Learning how to deepen the relationship I had with myself was the answer for me.

I have trained and experienced many different modalities and while I am a therapist by profession, I am also a human being on my own journey of finding meaning, wholeness and wellness within.

As a holistic, trauma-trained therapist and mentor, I will work collaboratively with you to clarify what is holding you back and then bring the needed attention and attunement to it so that it may change — so you can change.

Feeling out of balance within ourselves does not have to be shameful. It is the body's way of inviting us back to ourselves, back to wholeness. Shame, over-reaction, habitual responses are all clues that the system needs attention. When we realize this, we can shine a light on those areas, bring attention, and notice that this body wisdom is pointing the way through. It is in all of us, I can teach you how to look for it.

I am both professionally and personally influenced by Attachment Theory, Somatic and Polyvagal/Nervous System Regulation, Experiential Learning through the RRP model and Inner Child engagement.

I am curious by nature, am a lifelong learner, and, I also carry a lot of hope. I know that balance can be found because I have experienced it.

Bridge into the Woods

My Philosophy

My approach to this work is collaborative, relational in nature, experiential, and integrative. I am trained in proven clinical therapeutic approaches to therapy, but life has taught me that true mastery comes about by connecting people to their own inner wisdom and inherent resources while also identifying the things that block them from accessing what is rightfully theirs.

My passion is walking along side of curious people as they learn to recognize and use the wisdom of their body to show them the way back home to themselves.  Our bodies, our defenses, our clever strategies we created to give us safety, are the map we need to find the strength and resiliency to move through this life and to find the bridge to where we want to go.

Welcome home.
